We decided the paddle to Surprise Glacier the last day.  I lined everyone up in flying formation for this great shot.

I think I like Surprise Glacier even better than Barry and Cox.

The ice got pretty thick as we approached the glacier.  We had to push some of the smaller pieces out of the way with the bow of our kayaks.

Cathy took this photo of me with Surprise Glacier in the background.

We were rewarded with a nice beach for landing our kayaks and a great place for lunch.

Here is Julia, Cathy, and Michelle as happy as can be.
