Sunday Deb and I decided to hike the Heney trail. It reminded me of an enchanted forest found only in fairy tales.

After about two miles and 1000 ft elevation we turned around. Here is the view.

We asked some hikers to pose for us at a small salmon stream.

We ran into Max a friend of Deb. He's a commerical fisherman and invited us to go for a short ride.

This is a jet powered Bow Picker used to gill net salmon in the Copper River delta. Max is a really nice guy and has a wealth of knowledge. He took us aboard several boats and gave us a tour of Cordova in his Subaru.
