The Park Service closed the road due to snow and escorted everyone out of the park. Driving through Polychrome Pass was not fun. I closed my eyes but our driver did great.

We managed to take a few photos on the way out. This grizzly would not lift it's head so this is the best I could get.

The next day we went back into the park with the Road Lottery. The sun came out and most of the snow melted.

Ptarmigan were everywhere and made great subjects.
