Lake Creek, July 11-18, 2004
The mouth of the river was very busy with a fresh run of 30,000 Sockeye just entering the river. Only jet boats could navigate upstream of the first couple miles. Here is the confluence with the Yentna, a swift and silty river. A Beaver landed on the Yentna and picked us up at Lake Creek Lodge. And yet another trip of a lifetime! I'll be back for sure. The End.
