Seldovia, Alaska, June 2006
Two of my buddies and I headed to Seldovia for three days of fishing. The weather was clear and sunny. This is Redoubt Volcano as seen from Clam Gulch. We rented a 22ft Aurora from Ft Richardson. The weather was nice Saturday morning and we caught a few small Halibut. Here's me holding a15 pounder I caught on my Salmon Rod. Jon with another tasty sized Halibut. Seldovia is a really neat town. Very salty and historic. The locals are very friendly and curious. Originally a Russian settlement, Herring, Salmon, Crab, and now tourism made up it's economy.
