Symphony Lake, June 29- July 1, 2007
The Grayling ranged mostly from 10 - 15" but I did manage to catch a couple nicer ones. This peninsula made a decent camp site because the wind kept the bugs away. It rained both nights and a little in the morning but dried out each day. We hiked upstream to a beautiful valley. This terrain reminds me of Denali National Park. I found it interesting there was no outlet to this lake. All the water travels underground through the large boulders to Eagle Lake and Eagle River. I wonder if that's how the fish got there?
