 One day we were cruising along and a huge whale surfaced less than 50 feet in front of us. It popped to the surface like a huge submarine! It really startled me. I put the boat in neutral to stop as fast as I could and got out my camera just in time to take this photo.  Another fish grill on the beach. The view of the water was very relaxing.  On the last day of ocean fishing it was pretty choppy out so we only went out a few miles. In 125 feet of water my Dad caught a 57 inch (94 lb) halibut! I was really impressed we could catch something like this so close to the cabin.  This halibut filled our coolers and was a great way to finish our trip! We'll be coming back for sure. The End |
