The birds roost in the water all night and leave just after sunrise.

It's an amazing experience to watch. The whole sky is covered with birds.

The Snow Geese always take off first followed shortly after by the Sandhill cranes.

I took lots of photos like these sandhill cranes in flight but I prefer the sunset ones.

This is what one of the parking lots looks like. There's plenty of room for everyone.
