On the drive home I stopped at Little Coal Creek Trail near Byer's lake. It took me a couple hours to climb to the top.

The view of Denali is very impressive.

I could also see the Ruth Glacier which is popular with climbers.

The Taiga makes for great hiking. After lounging in the sun at the top of Kosugi ridge I headed back to Anchorage. What a great trip! I'll be back for sure.
