I showed my father Fort Abercrombie. It was very scenic.

The Coast guard was practising rescues near our campsite. I played around with shutterspeed. This one was 1/30 of a second.

We needed some Herring for Halibut fishing. At least two people told us to go to Jack's Bait. We showed up at a house and asked a neighbor. She said. "There's Jack riding his bike." I was a bit suprised.

10 year old Jack of Jack's Best Bait posed with his jumbo sized Herring. I see a true business man here! I've never seen Herring this large or packaged so well. Thanks Jack!

One day we caught three nice Halibut. The two largest were 23 and 50 lbs weighed on the scale left. Those Halibut are strong fish.

I landed that 50lber by hand with my fish lipper without shooting it first. That was a mistake! It nearly yanked me overboard and the lipper right out of my hand then dove to the depths. I thought I lost my $40 lipper but when it surfaced it was still clamped to it's lip. He thrashed his head at the surface soaking us. Finally I grabbed it and pulled him in followed by a quick attitude adjustment with my club.
