One day I hiked for about 3 hours to a small ridge for this photo of the Delta. If you look carefully you can see our silver tarp just left of middle between the two rivers. The far river has no lake system so Reds don't run up it. I'm guessing it's good for Silvers though as it was just as big as Saltery Creek to the right. The wide river is actually a tidal slough that runs parallel to the beach. Both creeks run into the slough which runs into the Bay to the left of the photo.

I found the world's most beautiful place to take a nap or have a picnic. Unfortunately I didn't have anyone to share a bottle of wine with.

The weather was moving in soon so we packed up and returned to Pasagsak. We fished here at Long Island on the way home. No luck. Watch out for the crab pots with floating rope in the bay. There must have been a hundred.

We arrived late because of the tide and camped at the truck. Out of the fog came a herd of Bison. About 150 of them crossed the river.

The next day we caught some Dollies. I hooked one Red but it broke my line.

Here I pose with a 16 inch Sea Run Dolly I caught in the surf with my Saltery Creek Special. What fun!
