Manitoba Mountain, March 2005

The Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage organized a weekend ski-camping trip on Manitoba Mountain. Here is our trip leader Bob "Fun Hog" Sutherland and his faithful companions Ganik and Jago.

We skied in two miles climbing 1000 feet.

We had an nice campsite at the tree line and protected by hemlock.

I decided to explore the lower slopes the first day because I was exhausted from the trip.

Some of the group headed up to the summit of Manitoba.
