Manitoba Mountain, March 2005
The crusty snow turned soft by 1PM. It was a real scorcher. Heading up. I skied North to Black Creek. A beautiful but very steep walled valley. Making some turns. How fun! We dug a common kitchen area for cooking. The night was also clear so I experimented photographing the stars. I put a lantern and headlamp inside my tent. The temperature dropped to 7° F but we managed to stay warm in our sleeping bags somehow.
