Three of us planned a late Spring ski trip to the Shrode Lake Cabin in Prince William Sound. The weather was hot and sunny. Perfect for corn skiing. My friend Todd and I spent the day skiing Blackstone Bay while Brad would join us later at the cabin. Here's a photo of me in front of my anchored boat.

This area gets allot of snow and has some great terrain.

We climbed a ridge to access the alpine. The scenery was breathtaking.

On the way up we found fresh black bear tracks. He even slide down a hill.

I really enjoyed skiing this ridge. The snow was very soft and slushy requiring fat skis for floatation. Todd skied up to a glacier while I stayed on the ridge and took photos.
