Resurrection Bay Ski Tour

After a chilly night I started my tour back up this creek. This valley was simply delightful! I love exploring new places.

After skiing a couple miles I found these fresh Goat tracks then spotted two Goats way up the mountain side in very rugged terrain.

I then entered the Bear liar. I wondered how many sleeping bears I was skiing over. Shhh! Don't wake them up.

The terrain was getting serious. The rock hard snow from the previous night made for safe travel but I wouldn't be here in melting temps.

A snow/rain storm quickly moved in so I opted to turn around.I knew with the hard icy snow the downhill wouldn't be much fun if I went any higher. Perhaps I will return here some day under better snow conditions.

Half way home the weather improved so I detoured up this Alder valley.
