Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival, 2007

This boat uses a unique LapStitch construction.

I liked the Chester Yawl so much I ordered a kit for this boat called a Skerry which can be sailed.

This boat is based on the Gunning Dory. I was impressed how fast it rowed with little effort.

James McMullen arrived in his 19.5ft Rowan. Iain Oughtred stretched his Arctic Tern at James request for this custom design. I was impressed how easily it passed all the bigger boats. This is James 42nd boat he built and is Glued Lapstrake. I enjoyed talking to James about boat design. He seemed to know everything.
